Our history
Our roots trace back to 1987, when founder Christopher Beard launched Turnarounds & Workouts, a newsletter covering the corporate restructuring industry. The Troubled Company Reporter followed in 1994, establishing the daily coverage of chapter 11 filings and corporate distress that remains the core of our business today. In the decades since, our roster has grown to more than a dozen titles covering bankruptcy, restructuring, and class action litigation across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific.
